Black Warrior Hunting Services

We are located 20 miles south of Tuscaloosa, Alabama in the rich bottomlands of the Black Warrior River. Hardwood timber, cotton, corn and soybeans are produced here along with the largest whitetail deer herd in the southeast. We also have quality as well as quantity. We have managed our deer herd under the Quality Buck Program developed by game biologist at various Texas Universities and at Mississippi State University. The basic principle of this program is to kill a lot of does, a few of your bigger spikes, let the young, healthy 4,6, & 8 points go, and to shoot older mature trophy deer which are 8 points and up, 17" or wider. We have been under a Trophy or Quality Management Program since 1977. We are one of the oldest, if not the oldest privately managed tracts of property in the State of Alabama.
